Dear Applicant,
Thank you for your interest in working at Elbow Lane Day Camp. Elbow Lane is known for its mature, capable and caring staff. Our staff are either Group Counselors or specialists (working in athletics, swimming, arts & crafts, etc.), the common denominator is that they enjoy working with children and understand their needs. Our program is active, with an emphasis on developing a positive self-image and having fun. By designing an athletic program that meets our campers’ interest and ability level, we can challenge them to do their best and, by success, see their confidence grow. The creative and performing arts program enriches the campers’ experience, and weekly special events are always popular as they add fresh, creative activity to our schedule. The facility is a large 27-acre site that is second to none. Each field, court and pool is well-suited to the age and ability of the camper.
Sounds great, doesn’t it? Well, it is great! Despite our renowned facilities and program, we believe that the key to our success is the staff. We want only the best for our campers. If you are ready for a challenging and rewarding summer camp experience, please complete and return the Counselor Application Form which can be printed from our website.
All of our Senior Staff (college age and above) are required to either drive campers or assist in one of our extended hours programs.
We also hire Junior Counselors (High School students) to assist our Senior Staff.
Again, thank you for your interest! I look forward to receiving your application soon.
Sincerely,
Adrian
