One of the most popular attractions at Elbow Lane Day Camp is our swim program. An experienced staff of Certified Red Cross Lifeguards is proud of their record of turning non-swimmers into swimmers. The children receive a period of structured swim activities in the morning with the intent of helping campers build confidence and improve skill in the water, plus a period of free swim every afternoon! Each of our 4 pools has been designed with age and ability level in mind. As children grow, they advance to a larger pool.

Adventure
Elbow Lane has over 10 acres of woodlands that we utilize for our Adventure Program. We continue to make a commitment to upgrade and expand this area, contributing its high popularity at camp.
Our two Ropes/Challenge courses have both high and low ropes elements. Campers through first grade will participate in our Jr. ropes course which includes a zip line, cargo net and rock wall. Older campers enjoy the low challenge course on the forest floor and nestled in the trees, our 10 high ropes elements that test nerves, build trust and hone skill. These amazing courses are used to build confidence and teamwork! Staff are annually trained and certified to ensure quality instruction and safe operation.
The Wildercaft program explores outdoor living skills including fire building, basic cooking, rocketry, geocaching, etc. Campers also have the opportunity to explore our wooded area through a network of winding trails.
Younger campers participate in our Nature program, where they learn Native American lore and skills, listen to stories in the Tipi, and take strolls in the woods as they appreciate their natural surroundings.
